Roberto Guerrero

[edit]

For whatever reason Roberto Guerrero is listed as a DNQ but he did not take part in any practice session. Morris Nunn withdrew the Ensign car, scratching the entry for Guerreo on the grounds that Guerreo was not in a fit mental or physical state to make his F1 debut. In reality FOCA side of the entry was in trouble as too many cars were entered for the event. 31 cars were entered while regulations only allowed 30 cars to take part in qualifying. A pre-qualifying seasion on thursday should have solved this problem but the drivers strike prevented this session from happening. By withdrawing his entry Nunn solved a lot of problems. There are also stories that Guerrero was withdrawn from this event because he was still under contract with the Maurer F2 team and Maurer team boss filed an injunction. MMS, RejectsF1

I think we should scratch Guerrero as a DNQ but I think he should be listed as the team was present for the GP weekend and intended to take part. I think we should list Guerrero either as a DNP or WD. Jahn1234567890 (talk) 22:17, 6 July 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Given that the entry was withdrawn (which is confirmed by Mike Lang's Grand Prix! Vol 4), I'd vote for "WD". DH85868993 (talk) 00:30, 7 July 2019 (UTC)[reply]
I think that should be fine. I will update all relevant articles. Jahn1234567890 (talk) 09:00, 7 July 2019 (UTC)[reply]
